The ECM Puristika is a deliberately minimalist single boiler machine designed for the barista who drinks espresso black and does not need steaming capability. This is a radical concept — ECM has removed the steam wand entirely, redirecting all design focus toward brew quality. The result is an exceptionally slim machine that occupies minimal counter space while still featuring a full E61 group head and PID temperature control. The 350ml stainless steel boiler with PID provides precise, stable brew temperature without the compromises of needing to also heat water to steam temperature. Without the steam circuit, the boiler can be optimized purely for brewing, and the PID has less work to do maintaining a single target temperature. The E61 group head provides excellent thermal stability and the pre-infusion characteristics that E61 enthusiasts appreciate. At just 14 kg and 190mm wide, the Puristika fits in spaces where no other E61 machine can go.
